COLUMBUS, Wis. (WMTV) - Two people were arrested after a traffic stop in Columbus, police announced Monday.

The stop for an unspecified traffic violation happened around 1:45 a.m. Saturday morning, according to Columbus Police Department.

CPD officer reported noticing the driver, a 32-year-old Columbus woman, was showing signs of alcohol intoxication. CPD said there were three passengers under the age of 18 in the vehicle.

When the driver was asked by the officer to step out of the vehicle, she allegedly refused multiple times before police say they removed her from the vehicle.

Officials took the driver to a hospital, where police said she refused to receive a blood draw.

The driver was booked into the Columbia County Jail on charges of operating while under the influence of an intox
