LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) - After a toasty start to the work week, changes are coming later in the forecast.

This evening will stay mainly dry as skies calm and cool post sunset. Temps will tumble overnight into the upper 60s. There is a chance for us to see some fog in the early morning hours, potentially carrying over into our Tuesday morning commute.

Tuesday will start dry as temps start to climb for another day of that typical August summer steam. Temperatures will peak in the low end of the 90s, then drop significantly overnight into the upper 60s. Heat index values will have us feel even muggier during the daytime.
