NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCSC) - North Charleston Police are crediting witnesses for helping them bring in two possible suspects for questioning in a Monday afternoon shooting that injured one man.

Police spokesman Harve Jacobs said the shooting happened just before 1 p.m. in the 4200 block of Rivers Avenue.

Several people in the area were able to give officers information about the suspects’ direction of travel, leading officers to establish a perimeter and detain two people.

Police have not yet released the names of the people they took into custody or what charges they may face, but said they were taken to the agency’s detective bureau for questioning.
