Ohio Farm Bureau is joining with Ohio No-till Council to provide a “healthy” evening on August 27 (Wednesday) at the Fred Yoder Farm, 7050 Butler Ave., Plain City, starting at 5:00 p.m.
The program focuses on “Healthy Soils, Healthy Food, Healthy People.” Farm Bureau members in Madison, Union, Delaware and Franklin counties can attend free. All others, the cost is $20. This includes a meal with BBQ pork sandwiches.
Landowners who rent to tenant farmers will learn from four no-till farmers who will share how their practices build value for the owner (conserving soil and making it healthier).
