LONG ISLAND, N.Y. (PIX11) -- A Long Island man has a new lease on life thanks to a Long Island grandmother he never met.
Carlos Reilly is finally meeting the family of the woman who donated her liver to save him as her final gift.
70-year-old Clair Rossi's family says giving gifts was her love language. The families were brought together by the organization 'Live On New York.' The organization points out that more than 30 percent of the lives they've helped save were from organ donors over the age of 60.
They want to spread the message that you are never too old to donate and save a life.
