FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) - Another hot and humid start to the week with highs in the mid 80s and a heat index near 90 degrees. Luckily, we are not expecting a lot of rain throughout the rest of the evening and for tomorrow. A few showers could pop up, but most are expected to fizzle out overnight. One or two light showers in store for the morning tomorrow as we are tracking a cooler, but dry rest of the week after Tuesday.

Tuesday is expected to remain humid just like today, but throughout the rest of the week humidity drops. Highs will dip into the low 80s for the middle of the week thanks to a cold front before slightly warming towards average for the weekend.
