OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) - One woman is in custody and another woman is injured after a cutting south of downtown Monday night.

Officers were dispatched to the parking lot of All Nations Grocery, Liquor & Tobacco just after 8 p.m. Monday near 24th and Leavenworth streets.

A 33-year-old woman was found with a cut on her face, police said in an update Tuesday. She was taken via ambulance to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The woman told officers she was cut during an incident involving a Black woman who was wearing all black and had dreadlocks.

Shortly after 11:50 p.m. Monday, police went to 22nd and Jones streets to investigate suspicious activity.
