Leicester Cathedral is set to host a “dazzling” sound and light show. Called “The Elements”, the six-day show will transform the inside of the cathedral with projections of volcanoes, oceans, and the sky - promising a fully immersive experience.
Aimed at people of all ages , The Elements is set to tell the story of Earth’s evolution “through light, colour, and sound”. The show is created by Luxmuralis, which is an artistic collaboration by sculptor and artist, Peter Walker, and composer, David Harper.
Luxmuralis has hosted events across the UK, with its Space event at Leicester Cathedral last year attracting more than 6,000 visitors. The Very Reverend, Karen Rooms, Dean of Leicester, said: “We are excited to welcome Luxmuralis back to the Cathedral.
