BEDFORD — The public is invited to an “Invasive Plant Walk” at Otis Park on Tuesday, August 26, at 6 p.m. Participants will walk along the edge of the Otis Park woods with plant experts to learn about the various invasive plant species found in the area and how to control their spread.

The event, a collaboration between the Purdue University Extension, Hoosier National Forest, Bedford Parks Department, Indiana DNR, USDA, and Lawrence County Soil and Water Conservation District, will provide valuable insights into protecting Indiana’s natural environments.
