At around 6:55 p.m., Evadale Fire and Rescue was responding to a medical emergency when Med Truck 1201 suffered a blowout to the front left tire in the 6800 block of FM 105 in Evadale. The Jasper County Sheriff's Office said the vehicle left the roadway, hit a culvert, went airborne, and landed on a fence.

The two firemen inside the truck were taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
