BETTENDORF, Iowa (KWQC) - A Bettendorf organization says they are opening up a second location to help people with disabilities in the community.

According to a release, Hand in hand is opening up a second “People with Purpose” day habilitation program.

Effective September 1, the program’s second location is needed to meet the needs of their growing participant list.

People with Purpose is a social Dayhab program designed for individuals with disabilities ages 18 and up.

The program provides opportunities for participants to stay engaged in the Quad Cities community, build meaningful connections, and contribute through volunteer work at various local charities and organizations.
