A minor has been taken to Connecticut Children's with serious injuries after being hit by a car in Tolland on Tuesday, town officials said.
Town Manager Brian Foley said the Tolland Fire Department and Connecticut State Police are at the scene of a crash involving a car and dirt bike.

It happened around 2:15 p.m. in the area of Anderson Road and Goose Lane.
A LifeStar helicopter transported a minor to Connecticut Children's with very serious injuries after being struck while on a dirt bike, Foley said.
The age of the minor is unknown at this time. The other driver wasn't injured.
State police said the scene is active and the crash is under investigation.
