MISSOULA — No position group on Montana's defense lost more players from the 2024 season than the defensive line, whose 11 departures tie the wide receivers on offense for the largest overhaul entering this fall.

The losses weren't just depth guys. Gone are five players who started a game last year, including CFL draft pick Hayden Harris. In total, five of the seven linemen who appeared on a two-deep throughout the season are gone.

The five returners have a total of one college start under their belt. That sole start belongs to junior nose tackle Jareb Ramos. He was on the two-deep for 13 games last year and D-end Matai Mata'afa was on it five times.
