GODDARD, Kan. (KSNW) - Two years in a row, Eisenhower football has come just a game away from the state championship game, and this season, they're looking to finally get over the hump.
After dropping some heartbreakers in the semifinals, head coach Darrin Fisher's Tigers are looking to finally hoist the 5A trophy, but 2025 could bring about some new challenges.
The roster saw major turnover at critical positions, with three-star quarterback Derek Morgan taking his talents to Division 1 Lehigh, and wide receiver Carter Pabst, a young man who shattered a state record with his 47 career touchdown catches. These changes aren't fazing the senior talent, though. Linebacker Jackson Reed says it's about the next man up.
