GLENDALE, Ky. —

Production has started at Kentucky's first electric vehicle battery park.

BlueOval SK in Glendale marked the milestone on Tuesday.

The batteries will be used to power the all-electric Ford F-150 Lightning.

Ford and SK On partnered to build two electric battery plants on I-65 in Hardin County.

The campus employs more than 1,400 workers.
