COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KKTV) - The Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) announced on Wednesday upcoming overnight paving operations in Colorado Springs.

CDOT said the operations will take place at the intersection of CO Highway 21 (Powers Boulevard) and Milton East Proby Parkway from August 24 to August 28.

Crews will remove the existing asphalt, followed by a new asphalt overlay to improve smoothness and safety for drivers, according to CDOT.

Traffic impacts will include:

From 6 p.m. to 5 a.m., Aug. 24 to Aug. 28, north- and southbound CO 21 (Powers Boulevard) will be reduced to a single lane in each direction from mile point 137 (north of Grinnell Boulevard) to 138 (north of Milton East Proby Parkway).
