As another bank holiday approaches many of us are sure to have travel plans lined up for the long weekend. Ahead of the three-day break, there are a number of closures and roadworks impacting Kent’s vital motorways and A-roads that drivers will need to be aware of.
But thankfully, there are no major works taking place between Saturday (August 23) and Monday (August 25). However, works will resume on Tuesday (August 26) impacting the likes of the M20 , M25 , A2 and A282.
Prior to the bank holiday, the A249 southbound M2 westbound freeflow slip road will see overnight closures on Wednesday (August 20) and Thursday (August 21) between the hours of 8pm and 6am. Meanwhile, closures of the west tunnel at the Dartford Crossing continue this week in the run up to the long weekend.
