LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) - Jefferson County Public Schools notified parents and guardians that it would be making a change to its milk service.
School officials wrote that during a daily quality check they discovered issues with the fresh milk supply. That supply will be pulled from schools immediately.
Here’s the statement from JCPS in its entirety:
We are writing to inform you of a temporary change regarding milk service in our schools. This morning, during our daily quality checks, we identified a quality issue with the fresh milk supply. We want to assure you that this issue was discovered before any of the impacted milk was served, and no students have consumed it.
