North Charleston Police arrest woman with large quantity of drugs, 2 guns

NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCSC) - A woman is facing several charges after North Charleston Police officers discovered a large quantity of drugs and guns during a traffic stop.

Anisah Brown, 25, is charged with trafficking fentanyl, trafficking methamphetamine, trafficking cocaine base possession with intent to distribute cocaine, possession of schedule IV narcotics, possession of stolen goods (<$2,000) and six counts of possession of a weapon during a violent crime.

Officers were patrolling the EconoLodge on Northside Drive because of the increased drug activity in the area when they noticed an occupied, running vehicle in the parking lot. When they approached the vehicle, they detected a strong odor of marijuana coming from inside, which led officers to conduct a probable cause search.
