CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCSC) - A woman is facing several charges related to a series of crimes from last weekend.

Marlney Fernandez, 44, is charged with second-degree burglary, breaking into a motor vehicle, attempting to maliciously burn the property of another, grand larceny, two counts of third-degree arson and four counts of second-degree arson.

Detectives were able to obtain surveillance footage and coordinated efforts across multiple investigative teams to identify Fernandez as the suspect and link her to several incidents.

Aug. 15 incidents

These three incidents occurred in West Ashley on Aug. 15 between 7 p.m. and 11 p.m:

A trash can was set on fire inside the bathroom around 7:25 p.m. at Zen Asian Fusion on Sam Rittenberg Boulevard.
