CLEVELAND — Putting the bomb in bombastic, Shinedown rocked roughly 7,000 fans at a fiery concert on Tuesday night Rocket Arena.
Less than a week after Morgan Wallen seemingly set a new bar for pyrotechnic fun, the Florida rock act delivered a fire-fueled, nearly two-hour set to its loyal following.
The high-energy evening kicked off with the new title track of the “Dance, Kid, Dance Tour,” followed by the anthemic “Fly From the Inside,” the extra-pyro-heavy “Cut the Cord” and the hard-hitting “How Did You Love.”
“We’re in Cleveland, having the night of our lives,” vocalist Brent Smith said. “Do you feel like dancing?”
The latter statement was confusing because not one of the group’s nearly 20-song set was remotely a dance song. Still, fans didn’t mind.
