MINOT, N.D. (KMOT) - A Minot-area vendor saw its liquor license temporarily suspended this week by the county after the sheriff’s office reported underage drinking violations at last month’s North Dakota State Fair.

Earlier this month, an alcohol enforcement operation at the fair uncovered multiple violations and led to an arrest.

The Ward County Sheriff’s Office filed a complaint against M&S Concessions, which held the liquor license at this year’s fair.

The sheriff’s office, along with First District Health Unit and the company, addressed the matter with the Ward County Commissioners this week.

Following a recommendation from Commissioner Miranda Schuler, the commission voted 4-1 to suspend the company’s liquor license for 10 days.
