CLAYTON, New York (WWNY) - The Clayton Post Office is closed for its third week. Renovations began earlier this month and are expected to last at least a few more days.
It’s a busy time of year at the Thousand Islands Arts Center, and it depends a lot on the Clayton Post Office, just steps away.
“We go through stamps all the time, so we’ll walk in there constantly to get stamps. We’re sending things out to our members left and right,” said Marina Loew, curator and assistant director.
But the Post Office doors have been shut since August 2. The office is closed for renovations, making some errands a little less convenient.
