DICKENSON COUNTY, Va. (WDBJ) - Anthony Kelly is desperately searching for answers.
He hasn’t seen his daughters, Riley and Kayden Kelly , in five days.
“On Sunday, when [their mother] was supposed to return them, she never showed back up,” said Kelly.
Kelly, who lives in Dickenson County, dropped off the 13 and 10 year-olds at a Sheetz in Wytheville for a scheduled visit with their non-custodial mother, Abby Kelly, on Friday.
He hasn’t seen them since.
“When she didn’t show up, I figured she had took off with them,” he said.
Ashley Lehmann, Kelly’s girlfriend who’s been helping care for the girls, said Abby never confirmed that with them. That’s when they went to the police.
“The officer himself couldn’t get a hold of her, he tried to call, tried to call, tried to call. So finally
