LUDINGTON — Sometimes it’s crazy how life works out.
Just over two years ago, I loaded my Chevy Impala to the brim with as much as it could hold and set off for the Upper Peninsula. After a long six-and-a-half-hour trip, I arrived in Iron Mountain — five minutes from the Wisconsin border — beginning my tenure as the sports editor for the Iron Mountain Daily News.
Although I wasn’t sure if I’d make it through the week, it was a great experience.
