LAS VEGAS ( FOX5 ) — A CCSD teacher has been arrested, according to the Clark County School District Police Department.

CCSD Police report Ray Garcia, 42, is facing a gross misdemeanor charge for capturing and sharing inappropriate photos.

Garcia is a Physical Education teacher at Edna Hinman Elementary School. He has been an employee for the district since 2013.

Officials say Garcia was arrested in connection to an investigation that began on Aug. 19.

Garcia will be placed on unpaid leave, per union negotiations.
