MARTINSBURG — A new juice bar and salad shop, called Seeds Juice Bar Studio, has opened its doors in downtown Martinsburg, bringing with it a much-needed option for those looking to eat healthy in the city.

For the shop’s owner, Nora Hernandez, who moved to the Eastern Panhandle in 2017, opening a shop like this one has been a dream of hers for a long time. That dream began more than 20 years ago when she and her late husband planned to open a salad shop while living in Baltimore. The idea was put on hold after his death, but Nora carried it with her as she raised her young son and later battled health challenges of her own.
