GREENSBORO, N.C. — As Hurricane Erin churns up the East Coast, emergency crews across North Carolina are stepping in to provide critical support.
Among them are Greensboro firefighters, now stationed on the Outer Banks to assist with storm preparations and potential recovery efforts. Their mission: to help wherever they’re needed most.
