Former KISS guitarist Ace Frehley has reportedly declined an invitation to participate in the band’s upcoming Las Vegas concert event, criticizing the choice of a smaller venue over Madison Square Garden.

The Rock and Roll Hall of Famer told Guitar World that he was invited to join “KISS Kruise: Landlocked In Vegas,” scheduled for Nov. 14 to Nov. 16 at Virgin Hotels in Las Vegas, but declined the offer.

“There’s no way I’m gonna be involved with that,” Frehley said.

The event, organized by KISS founders Gene Simmons and Paul Stanley, comes after the band’s farewell tour concluded in December 2023 at Madison Square Garden, which Simmons billed as the band’s “final KISS-in-makeup appearance.”
