SPARTANBURG COUNTY, S.C. —

Tuesday night Bill Rhyne won the primary election to become the last candidate in the run for Spartanburg County's highest law enforcement position. Rhyne says he's working to restore trust and transparency in the sheriff's office.

Sheriff-elect Bill Rhyne hopes to bring community policing to the Spartanburg County Sheriff's Office. In the short term, he says he's working to build his command staff.
