Thursday will start out rather similarly to Wednesday, with patchy fog possible early on, but the fog will quickly dissipate after sunrise. As we head through the day, highs will climb up toward 80 degrees for much of the Northland, with plenty of sun and a light southeast breeze by the afternoon. Once we head to Thursday night, however, we have the chance for a few thundershowers to move in along the cold front.
By Friday morning, we will likely still have showers and thunder lingering about the region, and temperatures will not cool down immediately. As we head through the day, a bit more sun will peek through in the afternoon, and highs still look to brush up against 80 degrees for most of the region.
Once we head into the weekend, that is where the cooler weather will take over. Wind
