MEMPHIS, Tenn. - Police are searching for a man wanted for an armed bank robbery in Midtown on Wednesday morning, the Memphis Police Department (MPD) said.

Officers responded to an armed robbery in the 1400 block of Union Ave at the Regions Bank around 9:34 a.m.

According to MPD, a man with a dark complexion left the scene on foot wearing a blue face mask, a black wig, a blue pullover, and whitewash blue jeans.

MPD reported that no one was injured and that officers are searching the area for the suspect.
