Police have launched a manhunt after a man was jumped in a late-night robbery in Call Lane in Leeds.

West Yorkshire Police have issued a public appeal, including a photograph of the suspect, who is accused of stealing a wallet, bank cards, a phone and headphones from the victim. The man also suffered bruising in the attack.

After the robbery, the cards were used to withdraw £1,800 of cash from an ATM almost 60 miles away in Warrington Cheshire.

In a statement, said: "Police in Leeds have issued images of a man they would like to identify after a robbery in the city centre. The incident happened on Call Lane during the early hours of Saturday, July 12.

"A wallet, bank cards, mobile phone and earphones were stolen from the male victim, who suffered bruising as a result of the incident
