We haven’t said this in months: It might be time to dig out your sweater by the end of this weekend.

Chilly temps are ahead for much of Michigan by this weekend. Today and Friday - and even Saturday for some of us - we can keep basking in the summer weather. But after that, it’s going to feel more like fall.

And next week: We’ll be topping out in the 60s.

A significant cool down is set to sweep across Michigan, bringing fall-like temperatures and potential lake effect rain showers this weekend and into early next week.

We are going to feel a dramatic shift from summer warmth to much cooler conditions, with temperatures expected to drop well below normal.
