HARTFORD, Vt. (WCAX) - Police are working a scene in Hartford village.

Hartford police say their department and Vermont State Police are investigating an active incident on the VA cutoff road.

Details are limited, but we do know a suspect is still at large.

Hartford police say they’ve closed off VA Cutoff Road from Mill Road to Town Highway 132.
