The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, reported that he held a conversation with the ambassador of the People's Republic of China in Venezuela, Lan Hu, in which they highlighted the progress the country has achieved through agreements with the Asian giant in the areas of economy, science and technology.

The head of state shared photographs on his Telegram account of the meeting he held with the Chinese ambassador, which was also attended by Vice President Delcy Rodríguez, and which took place at the Aquiles Nazoa Cultural Center.

Maduro stated that both nations discussed working to build permanent democracy alongside the people.
