WAYNESBORO, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) - A bobcat in Aiken County tested positive for rabies, and a bat tested positive for rabies in Burke County.

Burke County Animal Services and the Georgia Department of Health were contacted Monday about a person who was possibly bitten by a bat in the area of Woodbine Road.
The bat was removed from the area and tested for rabies.
On Thursday morning, authorities learned it tested positive.
