CHAGRIN FALLS, Ohio --

Traffic stop, East Washington Street:

After stopping a Cleveland driver, 26, for a lane violation 11:50 a.m. Aug. 6, the officer noticed he had an open duffle bag filled with multiple boxed Apple products. Further investigation revealed the man is under federal supervision after he was indicted for his involvement in a federal theft crime with the same type of property. A check of the products’ serial numbers indicated these items were not stolen. Police sent him on his way but will conduct a separate investigation for receiving stolen property.

Theft, South Main Street:

A village employee reported a stolen street sign Aug. 22. There are no known suspects or witnesses. Service department employees replaced it.

Harassment, River Street:

A Novelty Man, 36, filed
