Brits are being warned about a new 'phantom parcel' scam that is costing people hundreds of pounds every day.
Con-artists are sending texts out pretending to be from companies such as Royal Mail and stealing people's money and identities.
Victims receive a text from 'Royal Mail' saying their parcel needs a £2 customs fee and are asked to enter their card details via a link.
But scammers are able to get everything they need to empty your bank account and steal your identity from those details. Dubbed 'phantom parcel' scams, they are fooling Brits every single day, the Daily Record reports .
