EAST LANSING, Mich. (WILX) - Michigan State’s football team brought back a recent tradition with a “Meet the Spartans” event at Spartan Stadium Thursday afternoon.

Fans of all ages were invited to mingle with the players, take photos, and collect autographs with members of the 2025 Spartan team.

This event was last held in 2019 after several consecutive years. Admission was free to the public, and players signed autographs for an hour in the concourse area of the stadium.

There were also a number of activities for children held inside the stadium during this 4-hour event, and fans were able to walk on the stadium field and visit with Sparty and the MSU Dance and Cheer teams.

Michigan State begins its season at Spartan Stadium at 7:30 p.m. ET on Aug. 29.
