ST. LOUIS, Mo. (First Alert 4) - A former Parkway School District teacher was charged Friday after investigators say he uploaded child sexual abuse material from an elementary school.

Warren County Prosecutors charged James Finley III from Wright City with possession of child pornography. He is being held without bond.

Finley worked as a fifth-grade teacher at Ross Elementary School during the 2024 and 2025 school year. The Parkway School District says he is no longer employed by them.

A spokesperson for the Parkway School District released a statement saying:

“At this time, there are no reports of misconduct between this former teacher and any Parkway students. We are aware of an allegation that an image was uploaded while on school property. No images were uploaded by or to a Parkway
