LAKE CHARLES, La. (KPLC) - There’s a new energy running through Rosepine High School’s football program and it starts with first-year head coach David Weldon.
“We’re trying to bring back that excitement, that physicality, that smashmouth football,” Weldon said.
Weldon is building a tough, aggressive identity for the Eagles, focused on power and intensity — something the players have embraced from day one.
Running back Devin Janice said the new direction is exactly what the team needed.
