A new mixed-use development project at 140 Main Street, the site of the now-defunct Asacks shoe store, got the green light from the Planning Board on August 14.

The project was initially planned to be a three-story structure with six market-rate rental apartments on the two floors above a first-floor commercial space; however, the plan has since changed. Designed and executed by Bracken Engineering, the building has been scaled back to a two-story structure with only four apartment units.
