The witching hour is upon us. Cut down day arrives Tuesday.
The Patriots played their last preseason game Thursday against the New York Giants, and moves should start to trickle out before the mega-wave hits at the beginning of the week.
Mike Vrabel was obviously none too pleased with the 42-10 blasting in the finale.
“We’re so far from where we need to be,” Vrabel said.
That might have been an understatement.
The Patriots are going to have to bolster the roster, with changes and reinforcements likely to come before and after cutdown day.
They have little to no depth on the roster, as their second-third-and fourth stringers were badly outplayed by the Giants backups.
Said Vrabel: “We’re going to try to strengthen the roster any way we can.”
