A Colorado Springs man accused of jumping over a casino counter in Cripple Creek and stealing more than $76,000 was arrested this week, according to court documents.

Andrew Irvine, 26, was arrested Tuesday on suspicion of burglary and theft, according to his arrest affidavit.

A Cripple Creek police officer responded to a panic alarm tripped at J.P. McGill’s Hotel and Casino at about 4:10 a.m. Monday, according to the document. When the officer arrived, the casino manager told him the casino had been robbed.

Surveillance video in the casino showed Irvine entering minutes before the burglary, before leaving and quickly returning with a mask concealing most of his face, according to the affidavit.
