OPELIKA, Ala. (WTVM) - Several individuals have been arrested in connection with multiple robbery investigations in Opelika.

According to the Opelika Police Department, on June 26, 2025, police were called to a robbery that occured at Color Vision Rent to Own located at 3412 Pepperell Parkway.

The victim reported meeting two males in the parking lot to sell a firearm; the two males agreed to buy the firearm and drove away to get cash.

When the males returned, there was a third male present, and during the transaction, one of the suspects pointed a firearm at the victim before leaving with the money and the for-sale firearm.

Officials reported that the investigation led to the arrest of 20-year-old Kenyan Dashun Vann from Opelika, AL, for robbery (first-degree) on June 30.
