MERCER, Pa. (WKBN) - A Pymatuning Township supervisor entered a plea and was sentenced in a harassment case.
James Rowe pleaded nolo contendere, or no contest, to charges of harassment last month, according to court records. The plea means that Rowe neither admits nor disputes the charges, resulting in his conviction.
The other charges, including retaliation and obstruction, were dismissed.
Court records state that he was sentenced to probation and to pay a fine.
Rowe was accused of retaliating against a police officer who was the subject of a complaint from a local bar owner, who was upset about an increase in DUI arrests and nuisance calls around the bar, according to a criminal complaint.
