SHREVEPORT, La. (KTAL/KMSS) – The G-Unit team is back in the forefront of entertainment conversations in Shreveport after G-Unit Growth Advisor Orville Hall shared plans for a permanent G-Dome in an appearance before the Caddo Parish Commission Economic Development Committee.
While G-Unit has not provided a timeline for the construction or completion of any building project, Shreveport Mayor Tom Arceneaux has confirmed that the company, owned by Curtis "50 Cent" Jackson, plans to build a permanent structure that is being compared to the Sphere in Las Vegas.
"It'll be quite a new attraction for downtown Shreveport and the riverfront, so that's what I understand he plans to do," Arceneaux said in an interview with NBC 6.
While the Sphere is a fun comparison, the architectural and technolo
