COOKEVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) - A man has been arrested after he was accused of sending “sexually explicit” pictures and messages to a minor, according to the Cookeville Police Department.

CPD began investigating on Aug. 17 after a resident reported that an adult man was sending “inappropriate” pictures and messages to her 15-year-old son through Snapchat.

Police said 41-year-old Jeffrey Edward Dawes sent sexually explicit pictures and videos to the teen along with messages asking for photos of the 15-year-old in exchange for money.
