BISMARCK, N.D. (KFYR) - The Bismarck Parks and Recreation Department is gearing up for the fall with new activities.

This fall, residents can expect various sports programs, from youth basketball to adult volleyball.

Spencer Aune, the recreation specialist, recommends making the most out of it.

“Be willing to try something new. There’s a lot of different opportunities. A lot of our events, especially, are free or very low-cost. So, if you aren’t sure if you’re going to enjoy it, I mean, it never hurts, especially when you don’t have to pay anything to go,” said Aune.

Aune said that accessibility is a top priority for his office, and to reach out if assistance is needed.
